Avalanches - Capricious natural occurrence

Even the advancement of technology has not been able to help much to know the cause and effect behind this natural disaster. The mountain climbers consider this to be a major threat in their expeditions.
However, there are recorded times of the higher probability of an avalanche episode. They are mostly triggered during the transition period between winter and spring when the snow tends to melt. Avalanches are a matter of great concern to the mountaineers and they are always suggested to take precautions about it from beforehand.
